Deep Blue Discoveries had a great time presenting its program to the Junior Rangers of Stinapa Bonaire. With 14 children in attendance, the Junior Rangers not only learned about coral reef ecology, but how energy flows through this ecosystem. In addition, they learned how coral reefs are being threatened and steps they can take to protect the reefs. The Junior Rangers had a great time participating in beach games that depicted the energy flow through the reefs.
Afterwards, to reinforce what they learned, they went on a snorkel tour of a coral reef off the island of Bonaire. Thank you Stinapa Bonaire for the great day!
